Jim and Kathy Keller raised dairy cattle until 1994 when they decided to start investing in Registered Black Angus cattle.  They were located near Omaha, NE until the winter/spring of 2000 when they relocated to the Irwin/Manilla, IA area.
VOTED 2015 SHELBY COUNTY CATTLEMAN OF THE YEAR!

You can find the article about this honor in the "Keller Windchime Angus in the News" section
Jim and Kathy have 2 children.  Jeff and his wife, Amy live at the farm with their 3 boys:  Colby, Connor, and Caden.  Kimberly and her husband, Charles live in California with their 2 boys:  Luke and Ben.

Here are all the grandsons with Jim's 1953 Super H that he restored in 2015.

Jeff and Amy Keller got married in 1998 and moved to Kansas where Jeff took an accounting job.  During his one year in Kansas, he discovered how much his missed working on the farm, especially with the cattle.  They moved back and together with Jim and Kathy, decided to move the farm to Iowa.   They have 3 boys:
 Colby, Connor, and Caden.
Over the last couple of years, Jeff has taken over more of the day to day running of the farm.   Jeff hopes that the boys will want to work with him on the farm and someday take over the business.

Others Who Help Us Make It Work

We couldn't do it all without them

Travis

Joey

Travis has worked with us full time for many years.  Joey works for us full time during the summer and part time during the school year.  We are thankful to have such hard workers helping us make the farm run smoothly.

SASSY

MAC

Sassy and Mac are our hard working cattle dogs.  They love to help with the cattle along with making sure we know if there is a raccoon in a tree or coyotes howling in the distance.

CASSIE

INTRODUCING RUSTY!! With Sassy starting to slow down due to age, we made the decision to add a new cattle puppy.  We love purebred English Shepards for cattle dogs - here is the new addition to our family.

RUSTY

Cassie isn't a cattle dog, so she doesn't get to go play with the cows, however, she will dig out any gopher or groundhog and bring it up to the house for all of us to enjoy.   Plus she loves the lawn mower, if only she could figure out how to run it!
